Service · Mining Digital Twin

A pit is a living thing. Survey it like one.

A weekly-refreshed digital twin of your open-cast pit, stockyard and haul network. Progress maps, slope-stability indicators, stockpile reconciliation, safety audits — one platform, one crew, one cadence.

The problem

Most mines are run on a survey that's three months old.

The monthly survey is two weeks late. The stockpile reconciliation is done by eye. Slope stability is an engineering judgement made on a plot that was drawn before the last blast. The safety audit is a spreadsheet.

Meanwhile, the mine plan changes daily — because the mine is a living thing. The survey that manages it should live at the same cadence.

The solution

Fly once a week. See everything that moved.

  • Progress map. Weekly overflight produces a new orthomosaic and DEM. Volumetric delta versus last week, versus the plan, versus the LOM.
  • Slope stability. Sub-centimetre point clouds on high walls and dumps. Wedge/block detection, displacement monitoring, and deformation trends over months.
  • Stockpile reconciliation. Every stockpile measured and reconciled against the plant intake and the books. Variance explained, not buried.
  • Haulage and fleet. Haul road condition, ramp grades, and bench widths audited against design. Fleet telemetry ingested alongside.
  • Safety audits. Geotagged evidence of bench widths, ramp grades, safety bunds, water accumulation, and ground conditions — on a single portal.

What you receive

Deliverables

One vendor, one platform, one price — replacing the survey contractor, the safety consultant, and the stockpile auditor.

01

Platform access

Every mission loads into the Flybi platform. Browse the pit in 3D, measure anything, share a pin with the engineering team.

02

Weekly report

PDF with the week's deltas, anomalies, and actions. The report your GM reads on Monday at 8am.

03

Stockpile ledger

All stockpile volumes as a time series. Reconciliation pass-through to your weighbridge and ERP.

04

Slope-stability dashboard

Deformation trends per sector, with alerting for movements above threshold.

How it runs

A clean four-stage engagement

  1. MobiliseCrew deployed to site with redundant airframes. Flight corridors agreed with your mine manager. DGCA compliance handled.
  2. OperateWeekly flight cycles. Data returned inside 48 hours. Platform kept current, always.
  3. ReportWeekly GM brief + monthly leadership pack. Audit-ready at any time.
  4. EvolveQuarterly review: expand scope into blast fragmentation, haul-road optimisation, or plant-feed quality as warranted.
