Privacy Notice.
Short version: we collect what you give us on the contact form, we use it to reply to you and deliver work we’re engaged for, and we don’t sell it. This page explains the details.
Last updated: 21 April 2026
Who we are
Flybi (“Flybi”, “we”, “us”) is an industrial intelligence platform operated from Bengaluru, India, with a field presence in Kampala, Uganda. This notice covers the domains flybi.in and platform.flybi.in and any form, email, or data collection point that links here.
What we collect
From the contact form: your name, work email, company, phone (optional), industry, requirement, and message. We also capture the page you submitted from, the referring URL, your IP address, user-agent, and a timestamp — standard request metadata used for routing, abuse prevention, and auditability.
From email: whatever you send us. If you forward a sensitive document (survey data, tender papers, site coordinates), we treat it as confidential by default and route it only to the engagement team.
We do not use third-party analytics trackers, advertising cookies, or session replay tools on this site. The only cookies set by the site itself are functional (theme preference, nothing tied to identity).
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry. To scope and deliver engagements you’ve asked us to scope. To route partnership, investor, careers, and press conversations to the right person. To maintain a legally defensible record of communication. To improve what we build and how we pitch it — in aggregate, not against any individual.
Who sees it
Your submission lands in keshav@flybi.in and growth@flybi.in, both mailboxes inside the Flybi Microsoft 365 tenant. From there it may be shared with the specific Flybi operator, geophysicist, or engineer who will run your project. We do not forward your information to any third party for marketing purposes. We do not sell it. Ever.
Subprocessors we rely on to operate: Microsoft (email and collaboration), Hostinger (website hosting), Asana (project tracking). Each holds industry-standard data protection commitments. None of them receive your data for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are retained as long as the commercial relationship is active, plus a period consistent with Indian tax and contract law (typically seven years). If you ask us to delete your record and there is no active engagement or legal hold, we will.
How we protect it
Inbound submissions are written to a private server log before being sent to our inbox — so a single email failure never loses your enquiry. Access to that log and to the mailboxes is restricted and logged. Microsoft 365 data is protected by conditional access and multi-factor authentication. TLS is required on all public endpoints.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to keshav@flybi.in with the subject “Data request” and we’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
If you’re a resident of a jurisdiction with specific data rights (EU/UK/UAE/India DPDP), those rights apply; the email above is also the route to exercise them.
Sensitive programmes
For defence, government, or otherwise restricted engagements, do not use the public form. Email keshav@flybi.in with “[Restricted]” in the subject. We’ll route to a secure channel.
